Brief summary:
The substantiation of conjectured internal diseases by means of breath analysis bears vast potentials for surveys and experiences high acceptance from the persons undergoing the test. The future Life Science University of Krems in combination with the state hospitals of Lower Austria offer the right premises for establishing a cooperative research focus on breath diagnosis compliant with international research.
The study proposed by the state hospital Krems will round the Science & Technology state of the art, will highlight open questions and review its medical and technical innovation potential. A comparison test with advanced instruments will evaluate reliability and suitability for daily use.
The nine-month study will deliver a roadmap supported by an expert round which also attracts young scientists as well as further cooperative partners. It will result in the formulation of a joint research proposal substantially defined by a future research department of the virtual university hospital of Life Science Krems.
